日本を代表する現代アートギャラリーが集積する「TERRADA ART COMPLEX」では、アートフェア「Tennoz Contemporary」を開催します。TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅰでは、入居ギャラリーと国内外のゲストギャラリーによるコラボレーション展示を展開します。天王洲では見る機会の少ないギャラリーも参加し、現代アートの多様な表現を紹介します。TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅱでは、ギャラリースペース以外の共用部にも会場を広げ、国内各地で活動するギャラリーやアーティストによる特別展示プログラムを実施します。

TERRADA ART COMPLEX, home to many of Japan's leading contemporary art galleries, will host the art fair "Tennoz Contemporary." At TERRADA ART COMPLEX I, resident galleries will present collaborative exhibitions with guest galleries from Japan and overseas. The fair will also feature galleries that seldom exhibit in Tennoz, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the diverse expressions of contemporary art. At TERRADA ART COMPLEX II, the event will expand beyond the gallery spaces into shared areas of the building, presenting a special exhibition program by galleries and artists from across Japan.

WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.47: WHAT CAFE × Noboru Tsubaki Special Jointly Curated Exhibition "u.n.l.o.c.k. tube++"

特別合同キュレーション展「u.n.l.o.c.k. tube++」では、現代美術家であり、京都芸術大学美術工芸学科アルトテックの立ち上げ人として次世代アーティストの育成にも携わる椿昇氏をゲストキュレーターに迎えます。椿氏が紹介するアーティスト37名の作品を通じて、「作品を購入し、共に生きる」という行為が、私たちの暮らしや価値観にどのような広がりをもたらすのか、その可能性を探ります。

For the special joint curated exhibition "u.n.l.o.c.k. tube++," we welcome guest curator Noboru Tsubaki, a contemporary artist and founder of the Art-Tech program within the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Kyoto University of the Arts, where he is also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artists. Through the works of 37 artists selected by Tsubaki, the exhibition explores how the act of purchasing and living with art can enrich our daily lives and expand our perspectives and values.

TENNOZ ART WEEK期間中は、企画展「波板と珊瑚礁 ー 建築を遠くに投げる八の実践」に関連するギャラリーツアーとナイトミュージアムを開催します。企画担当者とともに展示室を巡るギャラリーツアーは、作品に込められたメッセージや制作背景が共有され、展覧会をより深く読み解く機会となります。さらに、ナイトミュージアムとして開館時間を20:00まで延長します。夜の静かな空間で、気鋭建築家の言葉や視点に触れるひとときをお楽しみいただけます。

During TENNOZ ART WEEK, we will host gallery tours and a "Night Museum" event in conjunction with the special exhibition *Corrugated Sheets and Coral Reefs: Eight Practices of Casting Architecture into the Distance*. The gallery tours, led by the exhibition organizers, offer a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the exhibition by exploring the messages and creative backgrounds behind the works. Additionally, we are extending our opening hours until 8:00 PM for the Night Museum, allowing you to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the evening while engaging with the words and perspectives of up-and-coming architects.

PIGMENT TOKYO Workshop "Painting Flowers on Silk Canvas"

絵絹を使って花の作品を制作いたします。
古今東西、布に絵を描いてきた歴史がありますが、そのうち東洋美術では蚕の繭から紡がれる絹が使われてきました。
向こう側が透けて見えるほど薄い絵絹では、裏から彩色を施すことで表裏のレイヤーを作りだすことができます。また、境界線のない繊細なグラデーションの表現が叶うことも絵絹の特徴のひとつです。
絵絹は非常に魅力的な素材ですが、他の基底材と比較すると下準備に手間暇がかかります。この講座では、事前に画材を整えておきますのですぐ制作いただくことができます。

絹糸が生み出す特有の滑らかな表面に伝統の色をのせて、江戸時代の絵師の感覚を追体験いたしましょう。

Experience the beauty of silk painting as you paint flowers on traditional silk canvas in this workshop.

Throughout history, artists around the world have created paintings on fabric.

In East Asian art, silk canvas made from silkworm cocoons has long been valued as a painting surface.

This ultra-thin, nearly transparent material allows artists to paint from the reverse side, creating layered effects that are visible from the front. It also enables the expression of delicate, seamless gradations of color, one of silk’s most distinctive characteristics.

Although silk canvases typically require meticulous preparation compared to other substrates, the materials for this workshop will be pre-prepared, allowing you to begin painting right away.

By applying traditional colors to the smooth surface of silk, you will engage with the refined aesthetic sensibilities of Edo-period painters.

※絵を描くための土台となる「支持体」を制作するワークショップ「絵絹の下拵え」も同時開催予定です

※A workshop titled "Preparing Eginu Silk for Painting"—where you can craft the silk substrate used as a base for painting—will be held concurrently. If you wish to continue creating, we encourage you to join this session as well.

TERRADA ART STUDIO TENNOZ OPEN STUDIO 2026

TERRADA ART COMPLEXⅠの２Fにある、アーティストの制作拠点「TERRADA ART STUDIO 天王洲」では、「TERRADA ART STUDIO TENNOZ オープンスタジオ 2026」を開催します。普段は一般公開していないスタジオを特別に開放し、入居アーティストによる作品展示・販売を行います。

TERRADA ART STUDIO TENNOZ, a studio facility for emerging artists located on the second floor of TERRADA ART COMPLEX I, will host "TERRADA ART STUDIO TENNOZ OPEN STUDIO 2026." For this special occasion, the studios—normally closed to the public—will be opened to visitors, featuring an exhibition and sale of artworks by the resident artists.
